Speak for yourself. I'm autistic, and I'd love to be rid of the many difficulties my autism brings with it. I don't know how a "cure" would work, but I'd sure as hell consider it if it were there.

There’s nothing wrong with an autistic person wanting to become neurotypical. The problem is when an organization run by neurotypical people (Autism Speaks) believes that being normal is the only thing an autistic person could possibly want.

Many of the difficulties come from society’s attitudes about autism, not from autism itself.
